Choosing new glasses involves more than finding a frame you love. Your eyewear must support your prescription, daily activities, comfort, and style. At OPMT, our optical team guides you through each stage so you can understand your choices before your order is placed.

• Step 1: Benefit Preparation Before Your Visit

  Before you arrive, our optical team checks your available vision benefits, including applicable coverage and copays, when that information is available from your plan. During your visit, your optician explains how those benefits may apply so you have a clearer sense of your coverage as you compare frame and lens options.

• Step 2: Frame and Lens Selection

  After your eye examination, an experienced optician helps bring your prescription and preferences together. They guide you toward frames that complement your features, fit comfortably, and suit your daily routine. You will also explore lens designs, treatments, and available enhancements based on your visual needs and lifestyle.

• Step 3: Clear Order Review and Prompt Lab Submission

  Once you have made your selections, your optician walks through the complete order with you. This includes your chosen products, the amount your plan is expected to cover, and your estimated out-of-pocket cost.
  After you confirm the order, OPMT sends it to our optical lab that same day so production can begin promptly. The lab prepares your lenses according to your prescription and selected specifications.

• Step 4: Quality Check and Custom Fitting

  When your completed eyewear arrives, our team checks the frames and lenses against the order. At pickup, an optician adjusts your frames for alignment, comfort, and a secure fit. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions about your new eyewear.
  From benefit preparation through final fitting, OPMT’s process is designed to provide clear guidance at each stage.
