Dr. Haley Durocher, O.D., is a skilled optometrist who brings a fresh and enthusiastic approach to OPMT Vision Centers in Nashville. She grew up in a family of eye care specialists and has wanted to provide quality eye care to patients since she was 10 years old. Her energy and dedication to her profession are evident in every aspect of her work.
After receiving her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi where she graduated with distinction, Dr. Durocher went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Optometry. She completed clinical rotations in Charleston, SC, and Atlanta, GA, before returning to serve the Middle Tennessee community.
Dr. Durocher is the elected Vice President for the Middle Tennessee Optometric Physician’s Society. She is a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association. She also specializes in myopia management, working with children and their families to slow down nearsightedness and support healthy vision as kids grow.

Vision therapy helps improve vision by strengthening the relationship between the eyes and the brain.

Dry Eye Treatment
Dry eye disease is caused by poor quality or quantity of tears, and can cause long-term corneal damage if left untreated.

Corneal molding, or orthokeratology, is used to slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness), primarily in children.
