Hello! Emily here. As some of you know, I was in St. Louis last week for the College of Optometrist in Vision Development (COVD) annual conference. COVD has a meeting once a year. They have a lot of great courses to take and this year I took VT 201. VT 201 built on the fundamentals that were learned in VT 201. We learned more about strabismus, amblyopia, prisms, and lenses. It also expanded on how to modify techniques and procedures for special populations. I gained more knowledge about Vision therapy and I have learned fun and new activities.
The COVD annual conference joins vision therapists from all over the country and world. It was great to be able to connect with fellow vision therapists and see how many people are passionate about Vision Therapy like we are at OPMT.
