Dr. Donald Blocker served Portland for nearly 50 years as an optometrist, providing comprehensive vision care and eye disease management for both adults and children. He devoted his career to extending the best in vision health and upholding the highest standards of eye care for each and every one of his patients.

After founding the Portland Vision Clinic and operating it for 46 years, Dr. Blocker wanted to take his time and consider very carefully who would take over his practice upon his retirement. He landed on OPMT as his chosen partner because of our mutual commitment to high-quality, individualized eye care.

In January of 2020, Portland Vision Clinic proudly became the Portland office of OPMT Vision Centers, overseen by founder Richard D. Durocher, O.D. and practicing optometrist Sarah Fowler, O.D..

Dr. Blocker retired at the end of 2020 and still resides in Portland, where he remains an active and dedicated member of our community.
